We make money from the lab — the data, the compute, the tooling — never from your ideas. The strategies you build here belong to you, and we treat them that way.
Our promise about your private strategies
- We never trade or invest based on your strategies.
- We never share, sell, or disclose them to other users or third parties.
- We never publish them or add them to our public dashboard or live line-up.
- We never use them to train our models or build our own strategies.
The honest part
We won't pretend we can't see your formula — to run a backtest, our engine has to read the expression you wrote. That's true of any hosted backtester. What we control is what we do with it, and the promise above is exactly that boundary, backed by our Terms of Service (§6).
Private by default. Every strategy you create starts private — only you can see it. Its formula stays locked to you even if you later make it public.
You decide if it ever goes public. Nothing appears on the public dashboard, and no one else can follow it, unless you choose to list it. Only then do its holdings and performance become visible to others.
