Questions
Do I need Pro to see the strategies?
No. Browsing strategies, the live track record, charts, methodology and the model portfolio are free for everyone — and all users see the rebalances at the same time. Pro only removes the compute limits.
What counts against my free backtest limit?
Each backtest you run from the web/app counts toward 5/month, the in-game Strategy Game builder has its own 10/month, MCP backtests have their own 5/month, and AI strategy generations have 5/month. They reset monthly. A failed run is refunded.
Can I see the exact formula behind a strategy?
The formula/expression is private on all plans — it's the owner's IP. You always get the full plain-English methodology, the universe, rebalance rules and the complete track record.
Can ftInvstr see or use my strategy?
To run a backtest our engine reads your expression — like any hosted backtester. But we never trade it, share it, sell it, publish it, or train our models on it. Your private strategies stay private, you can export or delete them anytime, and it's backed by our Terms (§6). More on your IP →
